Abdul Qadir Sheikh

Abdul Qadir Sheikh is an accomplished finance professional with over 19 years of experience spanning the financial services and manufacturing sectors. He has worked with two of the Big Four audit firms and has held senior finance roles at both listed companies and well-established business groups.

Before joining UIB in the Emirates, he served as Senior Manager Finance at the largest Takaful insurance provider in the UAE, where he oversaw finance operations and managed policyholder investments.

A Chartered Accountant (ACA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), he currently leads the Finance Department at UIB in the Emirates. In this role, he provides strategic financial guidance, oversees financial reporting, and ensures full compliance with regulatory requirements.
